Chasing the Happiness

Is happiness a short-lived fantasy that is being chased after even when it is achieved?

A never ending chase where happiness changes its dimension the moment it is achieved.

Is this chase the hurdle for happiness?

The Silence of the Unspoken Words

The mind only understands the spoken words,  fails to notice the unsaid.

Only the heart hears the unspoken words, recognizes the expressiveness of the silence.

Butterfly that awes me

The fluttering butterfly,

Hopping over flowers,

Lifting my blissful spirit, 

Bringing exuberance in me. 

Making  me wonder,

Is it its freedom that awes me?

Is it its obliviousness to things around that awes me?

Time

Autumn's Tranquility

Walking on the bed of leaves,

Listening to the crackling sound,

Embracing the cold-crisp wind,

Unknowingly, I wander into the realms of tranquility.

If Not ...

If not for the thorns, the allure for the rose is lost,

If not for the failures, the inspiration for success is lost,

If not for the darkness, the sparkle of the light is lost,

If not for the flaws, the individuality of self is lost 

Hope an Elixir

Like a barren tree with the leaves fallen,

Longing only for the elixir of life.

The dreams though appear shattered,

Yearning only to be rekindled by a ray of hope.
